Ok, finally getting around to the cruise pics. We went on the Carnival Immagination on a 4 night cruise to Key West, FL and Cozumel, Mexico. Josh and I went and my sisters Tiffany and Lindsey went too. We had a great time.
This pic is inside the ship

These are all Key West. It was a very nice, clean, touristy town. Everything there was kinda expensive, and we noticed that TONS of the houses there were for sale.
This is made entirely of sponges. They had a huge sponge and shell store

We went to a really cute Botanical Garden there that is run by volunteers. There are for sure some very neat trees in Key West. They had some pretty flowers, and neat cactus too. Also, all over the town were these little lizzards everywhere. They would just run out and around.

Josh and I were shocked to see this house was for sale for a million dollars. It looks better in the pic than in real life. It was pretty run down and not lived in and the paper said it was a million dollars.

Had to take this pic becuase it was the Walgreens. Doesn't look like our Walgreens.

Josh holding an alligator and me holding a little plastic one becuase the guy was making fun of me for being too chicken.
Our formal night was not so great. The ship was really rocky the whole trip and that night is was the worst. You could barely walk without falling over. We didn't get very good pics because of the rocking. Dinner was awesome though.

The next stop was Cozumel. We were dropped off right down town in the shopping area. We had booked an excursion to go to a private party beach with all kinds of stuff to do. It was called Playa Maya Beach. They had all you can drink included, and a buffet but the buffet was so gross, so we mainly got our money's worth on daquris, rum punch, and pina coladas. We also did some shopping on Cozumel too. They had some neat stuff. I got Asher one of the little wooden guitars and both the kids got maracas too.

After Cozumel we had a Fun Day at Sea the next day, and then our last night on the ship. The food was awesome on this trip and the shows were great.
After getting off the ship we had to stay at Miami airport all day long because our flight was so late. We just sat around reading, shopping at the airport and waiting. Had to switch planse at Atlanta, and then back to KC we went. Got home at around 4:00 in the morning. Great trip, and can't wait to go again someday. But will probably have to take the kids next time. They want to go now.

Alyvia's Recital Costume

Alyvia got her recital costume and is dying to wear it. Her recital is later on this month and I told her after that she can wear it all the time.

Lamby's Birthday

So Alyvia decided that Lamby was so special he needed a real birthday party. He is 4 years old now. She wanted a cake and all. I am not one to ever turn down an excuse for cake. I can't remember the exact day we got Lamby, but it was in March a few weekse or so before easter so close enough. Alyvia said it was his birthday. That little lamb has been through a lot with her. Lots and lots of laser surgeries, and every where else she has dragged him. Wonder if she will want a cake every year? Fine by me.

Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day

Saturday March 20 is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day.
March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
I hope you take the time to read about CP today and spread the word why we need more research and awareness. CP is a lifelong disease that requires intense daily support and extreme financial and emotional investment. Families and siblings persevere every day to address the needs of the family member with CP. Let's all give our support and wear green today in honor of those with Cerebral Palsy and their families and pray and hope for more research to give those with CP a better future and a more independent and fullfilling life.

We will be wearing green at our house in honor of Our Niece Marisa, and Josh's cousin Matthew, as well as others we know affected by CP.

COME ON ALREADY SPRING!

We are so ready for spring at my house. The kids want to go out and play but it is too muddy and the yard is a mess. I am sure we are going to be spending a lot of our spring and summer cleaning the place up after the rath of Marley and Winter.

We did have an awesome day out Monday, so we decided we had to get out. We went to NA NA & PA PA's to play with Lucky because Alyvia said he needed some attention and our kitty was getting enough and Lucky wasn't. So off we went. Lucky was happy and the kids got to play in the mud for a while which they loved. Then we went on a walk around town with Robin and Sienna. Those two girls are gonna be trouble some day I know it. And Asher follows right behind them trying to do everything they do.

Some cute new pics I took today

I got a new camera about a month ago and it is awesome, but I have not had hardly any time at all to mess with it. I am still reading the manual and learning about it and have a lot to learn. I also got some new photo editing software this weekend, and messed around with it a little. These are all just beginner pics, but I thought they were cute. And I really hope to mess with my camera and software more soon, and get some great pics of all the kiddos.

These are of LILY. She is sporting her new hat and flowers made by my sister Kelley

I got a bunch for Alyvia and hope to take some pics of hers soon. They are so awesome and you can clip and unclip your flowers or bows to use different ones for different outfits.

This is funny. I got it in an email
