Alyvia lost her first tooth 11/23/10

Alyvia lost her first tooth on 11/12/10. And let me tell you it was a long drawn out ordeal. That sucker was loose for a few months prior, and she did not want it to come out. She protected it, ate around it, and wouldn't let anyone touch it.  She was cautious of it when brushing teeth, chewing, and everything. I think she was afraid of it hurting.  Well, it was so loose for a few weeks I was afraid she would swallow it. One morning she woke up for school and it was literally hanging by a thread. I told her I had to check it out before school. I barely touched it and it came out. She cried and had a total meltdown for like 15 min. Letting the blood run down her face, tears, snot and everything running everywhere until she realized "hey this isn't so bad". The I told her she could put it under her pillow and she was excited. Got her a tissue and ready for school and off she went. She was so excited that night to put it under  her pillow. When we had went to the dentist we noticed that her new tooth had been coming in already behind it so she doesn't really have a major gap. The new tooth had come in quite a bit and you can see it in the second pic.  She woke up first thing in the morning to find the tooth fairy had left her $5 for her first tooth and had dribbled some fairy dust into her box with the money. She still has the box and is keeping the fairy dust and the money in it still. She loved that fairy dust(glitter).  She says she just knows the tooth fairy is full of glitter, sparkle, and shimmer so she knew the dust just came off the tooth fairy.  Now she has another bottom loose tooth, but I know it will be a long time for that one too.

Halloween 2010

Well, all these pics came in backwards, but I'm not redoing it. Takes too long. 

We all had a super fun Halloween.  Alyvia really wanted to be Tinkerbell, so we started with that and went from there.  She wanted me and Josh to dress up too so he was an improvised Captain Hook, and I was Tiger Lily, and Asher was Peter Pan.  Alyvia picked her costume out online, I borrowed mine, and Josh was put together with what we had. Kelley and I made Asher's and it was soo cute and nice and warm. Alyvia really like hers and now has another dress up outfit to add to her collection.

These are all from the Trunk Or Treat Hoedown at Awanas. The kids got to dress up western and trunk or treat and do fun stuff. They had a blast.

Such a fun Halloween. Can't wait till next year and the kids are already talking costumes.  Alyvia said she wants to be Tangled and Asher said he wants to be a picture frame?!?(Wierd Kid, I dont know what that is about)

Alyvia Cheer Camp 2010

Alyvia got to do the cheerleading camp for the football season this year. She LOVED it and can't wait to do it again.  They had camp after school and learned cheers and stunts with the cheerleaders.  The best part of all to her was that she got to do cheer camp with Shalyn, her favorite cheerleader.  She was really cute the night of the football game in her shirt, and with her pom poms. Asher, Nana, Aunt Kelley and I all went to watch her.  She had a lot of fun.
